CANCELED – Leaves of Fun: Walkabout, Tree ID, & Leaf-Etching (@ FDR)

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this program has been canceled.

It’s the FALL season, so the leaves are changing color and drifting to the ground!  So, come out and enjoy an early start to the season, as we do a leisurely walkabout within FDR Park!

As we walk throughout the Park, we’ll see what we see, hear sounds of nature, and maybe identify some of the leaves beneath our feet or trees that grow tall around us.  Upon finishing our leisurely nature walk, we’ll take time for some decorative fun.  Kids will receive blank paper note-cards to create a personalized card using our leaf etchings and crayons.  In addition, kiddos can enjoy the award-winning Anna C Verna playground at FDR, in between creating their notecards.

Start Time: 11am (If you arrive late, you may miss the walkabout around FDR Park.)
