It’s a Bird, It’s a Pond, It’s a Trail… (@ Awbury)

It’s spring, and the pond at Awbury has come alive with wildlife so there’s definitely things to see and explore.  In addition, we’ll be taking time to create and decorate decorative birdhouses.  Kids in attendance can use our loaner kid-friendly binoculars and/or magnifiers, with their parent/guardian, to possibly see some birds and other nature items in/around the area. As a way to explore, we’ll travel along a trail or two at Awbury, to enjoy an easy outdoor hike (nature walk).

Registration:  Strongly suggested, since registering allows us to share last-minute cancelation and/or change in programming details with you.  Should you have any issues registering, please contact us at 866-878-3595.

Meeting Location: Please meet at the Pond at Awbury.  The address is around 852 Washington Lane, Philadelphia, PA – this is NOT a building, but rather the Washington Lane Septa Train Station.  The station is next to the pond, so if you’re driving, you can park in that lot.   Look for our Educator in the vicinity.  If you do not see them, please contact us at 866-878-3595.
