Archery (Mini-Session) & November Harvest Fest

Join us for an Archery mini-session lesson during Let’s Go Outdoors’ “Drop-In Archery” program happening during Original American Foundation’s November Harvest Fest. You’ll have fun learning how to SAFELY use a bow and arrow to shoot a target.
This is NOT a full archery lesson – it is a mini-lesson experience allowing participants to try archery. Your full time for archery will be 15-20 minutes, depending on the number of people registered, learning level of participants, and/or time of arrival of you/participants. You will be led through safety instructions and brief archery technique(s) to then have the opportunity to shoot 5-8 arrows. NOTE: It is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED that participants be aged 10 years or older.
Please keep in mind that this is NOT an archery session for groups of people and/or organizations. It is geared for families, who will participate together. We ask that if you register, the participant numbers be up to 2 adults and up to 3 kids. We understand that families may run larger, and if this is the case please contact us at (866)878-3595, ext. 701, so we can plan accordingly. Parents/caregivers are expected to support their kid(s) during the archery mini-session, if needed.
After (or before) the archery mini-session, attendees can take part in Original American Foundation’s November Harvest Fest, celebrating culture, community, and crops. Those attending are able to view botanical art, help with crop harvesting, enjoy socializing with others, music, and free food.
Time: 11:00am-12:30pm (This is drop-in, though we encourage arriving earlier, since spots may fill up.)
