SUMMARY:Spin Like the Wind: Walkabout\, Bingo\, & Pinwheels (@ Heinz)
DESCRIPTION:Bring the kids out for a wildlife/nature loop walkabout\, plus some bingo fun!  In addition\, if they’d like to be creative\, we’ll provide an opportunity for kids to color their own kid-size pinwheels that they can run with in order to create a spinning effect and/or take it home for placing where wind blows (in yard\, windowsill\, plant pot\, etc.)\, allowing it to spin in the wind. \nSTART TIME:  11am \nREGISTRATION:  Strongly suggested\, since registering allows us to share last-minute cancelation and/or change in programming details with you.  Should you have any issues registering\, please contact us at 866-878-3595. \nLOCATION:  Meet us in the vicinity of the Visitor’s Center at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge\, 8601 Lindbergh Blvd.\, Philadelphia\, PA.  Look for our Educators in that vicinity.  If you don’t see us\, call Let’s Go Outdoors at 866-878-3595.

SUMMARY:Canceled - Kids Nature Walk (@ Plymouth Meeting Park)
DESCRIPTION:This event has been canceled.  \nJoin Hiking Hound Adventures\, LLC for a free\, family-friendly Kids Nature Walk designed to get children excited about the outdoors. This guided walk will explore local trails while introducing basic nature observation skills\, encouraging curiosity about plants\, wildlife\, and the environment. The program is designed to be fun\, engaging\, and accessible for all experience levels. Caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children.  Recommended for children ages 3–10\, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. \nThis program is led by experienced instructors from Hiking Hound Adventures\, LLC\, a woman-owned\, family-operated outdoor education company focused on building confidence\, skills\, and connection in the outdoors. \nSTART TIME:  1:00pm (We cannot guarantee waiting for late comers.  This is rain or shine unless severe weather (participants will be notified of any changes)) \nLOCATION: Community Center Park\, located within Plymouth Township Park. Parking is available off Walton Road. Participants should meet near the pavilion area by the upper parking lot. Portable restrooms are available near the Walton Road lot.
