DESCRIPTION:Join us for an easy nature walk loop within the Wissahickon. While on our walk\, we’ll keep our eyes open for birds and butterflies and/or other fluttering creatures that may be out and about. During this session\, we’ll also allow time for kiddos to create/decorate a butterfly window cling suncatcher. \nSTART TIME: 11:00am (Please arrive on-time\, since we cannot guarantee waiting for late-comers for the nature walk portion.) \nREGISTRATION: Strongly suggested\, since registering allows us to share last-minute cancelation and/or change in programming details with you. Should you have any issues registering\, please contact us at 866-878-3595. \nStart Time: 11:00am (we cannot guarantee waiting for late comers) \nMeet Location:  Wissahickon Environmental Center (also known as\, “The Tree House”).  The Tree House will NOT be open\, though waiting in the vicinity of the parking lot\, near the Tree House\, or on the porch of the Tree House is fine. \nRegistration:  Strongly suggested\, since registering allows us to share last-minute cancelation and/or change in programming details with you.  Should you have any issues registering\, please contact us at 866-878-3595. \nSuggested Parking: Park in the upper lot\, located at 990 W. DESCRIPTION:This event has been canceled. \nIt’s spring\, so let’s enjoy the warmth with some active play at the Cobbs Creek Nature Playground in this leisurely session. We’ll play some rounds of Simon Says\, making sure to incorporate some nature-themed poses\, then a round or two of BINGO\, and then to top things off\, we’ll offer kiddos a chance to get creative with a spring themed craft. \nKids in attendance can use our loaner kid-friendly binoculars to stroll about the Cobbs Creek trail(s)\, with their parent/guardian\, to possibly see some birds that reside in/around the area.  If all the active play\, birding\, and/or craft aren’t enough\, kids can continue the warmth of play by enjoying time at the playground. \nStart Time: 11:00am \nMeeting Location: Please meet in the vicinity of the Cobbs Creek Nature Playground\, 700 Cobbs Creek Parkway\, Philadelphia\, PA.
