Wonderous Walkabout: Farm, Pond, Birds

Let’s take a walk throughout the wonderous landscape of Awbury.  Young ones (and adults) will get active through walking, as they stroll through the farm, hopefully seeing chickens, goats, gardens, and whatever else is out and about.  In addition, we’ll travel to the pond to see the wonders of the water, and end with walking along the bird trail where we’ll try to spy the wonders of the sky, birds.

Time:  This program starts at 11am.

Meeting location:  The Farm entrance at Awbury, 6336 Ardleigh St., Philadelphia, PA

NOTE:  This is a completely outdoor program, so plan accordingly.  We will be walking along paths, slight inclines, dirt/mulch, paved walkways, etc. though tis is an easy type of nature walk/stroll.  The walkabout is not stroller friendly, though if you stick to the Farm side, it is.
