Horsin’ Around the Stables

Join Let’s Go Outdoors, in partnership with Monastery Stables, for a fun, free-flowing program at the stables. Drop in anytime between 12pm-2pm for this family-friendly event.  Attendees can leisurely visit stations, walk the grounds, and interact with the horses. This is a chance to get up-close and personal with these amazing animals. You’ll learn about them, while also having a chance to pet/groom them, enjoy a story reading about horses, see a jumping demo, and chat with caretakers and owners. In addition, there will be guided nature walks with tidbits about the property, which is within Fairmount Park.
