Playground and Nature Stroll

Meet us at the playground, anytime between 11am-1pm, for some outdoor educational fun.  In addition, our educators will lead you on an easy nature stroll, along the Cobbs Creek trail, where you’ll enjoy lovely views of the creek as you walk. Look for us in the vicinity of the playground.

STROLL DETAILS
This is an easy, mostly flat, nature walk along varied dirt, rock, grass, and/or gravel terrain. There is a paved short downhill and uphill walk.  It is SOMEWHAT stroller friendly and we’ll walk about 20-30 minutes. We start at the Cobbs Creek Nature Playground area and travel the trail to the Rec Center.  As we walk along the trail, we share fun environmental tips, knowledge, etc., with possibility for birding, tree id, and exploration.  IF the rec center is open, there is bathroom access, though we cannot guarantee if it will be open, so plan accordingly.
