Family Tree Hike: Fruits, Cones, and Nuts

Join us in Awbury’s AdventureWoods to learn about easy tree identification based on shape, number, and placement of a tree’s leaves. Then find out the different methods trees use make copies of themselves. During an hour-long walk we will collect some tree seeds, then play a game of tree seed bingo while snacking on gifts from trees (please let us know if you have an allergy to tree nuts). Wear comfortable walking shoes. This hike is best enjoyed by adults and children ages 8 and up, though all ages are welcome.
