Create/Decorate a Bird House & Birding

Join us for a create/decorate your own decorative bird house.  Kid participants will assemble a wooden craft bird house and use markers to color and/or decorate it. In addition, attendees will learn about a few birds, able to use binoculars and take a stroll to possibly see some that reside in the Wissahickon Valley Park vicinity. Materials/supplies are provided.

Drop-in anytime between 11:00am-1:00pm at the Wissahickon Tree House.  PARK in the upper lot, which is located at , 990 W. Northwestern Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19128. Once parked, follow trail to “Tree House.”  We will be located in the outside area, near the or in the general vicinity of the Wissahickon Environmental Center (the Tree House) – look for our Educator and/or our organization signs.
